Mat decided that he wanted an extra shower room downstairs in his house. He partitioned the room within a small extension on the side of the house. There was a soil pipe close by and we plumbed in the wastes and brought in the services. We fitted the towel rail radiator up high because it is a small room. This keeps it out of the way.

Modern shower room. We removed the bath, dug up the floor for the shower waste, and installed a 900 quadrant. The wall hung vanity unit is finished in light oak with two draws. A very nice unit. The tiles consist of a beige tile with two feature panels. One in the shower and one over the basin.
This was a bare room in a listed farmhouse. Made it very difficult as nothing was square. We had to install all new pipe work including a new soil pipe out to the sewer. A big task on a limited budget. The WC was separate, and we had to knock the two rooms into one. The couple wanted the bath replaced with a shower. A lot of people are doing this today, especially the elderly as it makes for easier access. But knocking the wall down and making good is quite a job. But at the end of the day they were very pleased.
This is actually a wet room, with a screen. All the walls are covered in a green mosaic tile. The floor has a linear drain gully. To brighten up any plain or white tile, or add interest, consider adding a feature wall of bright coloured tiles. We did this in the shower enclosure, and in many bathrooms.
